AdenoZap Cloning Kit Part Numbers and Pricing
Available Kits:
AdenoZap1.1 Kit Cat # ZK-01
The AdenoZap1.1 Kit contains the components necessary to construct Ad5-based adenovirus vectors containing transgenes in place of the E1 region and characterized by a wild-type E3 region. The cloning strategy is based on the directional ligation of restriction fragments obtained using SfiI-like restriction enzymes. The cloning capacity is 5.2 kb. The kit contains enough materials to construct 10 recombinant viruses.
In addition to the shuttle vector pZap1.1 and the right arm RightZap1.1, two controls are provided:
- A ΔE1 left arm, which can be used as a control for the ligation reaction with RightZap1.1 and will generate a ΔE1-adenovirus that can be used as a negative control in future experiments.
- A plasmid-based adenovirus DNA (Adβgal), which can be used as a control to monitor the transfection efficiency and will generate an adenovirus expressing a β-galactosidase under the control of a CMV promoter.
